I'm BAAAAACK

 Can't believe I've neglected this for so long. Too much life has gone on. But now I am back and I am going to try to post more often. So watch for more content and more regularity!!

Today is so extremely hot here. 102 degrees does not make anyone feel great that I know. I am so grateful to have central AC in our house, thanks to my handyman husband who can do anything!!!

Not much cooking going on, but the cross-stitching has been going on daily. I will be posting some pictures over the next few days.

Getting Used to Blogging

 I don't like going so long without posting, but I find myself procrastinating til I have the PERFECT picture etc. I need to get over this perfectionist thinking or I'll never accomplish anything. Anyone have any blogging tips to help me out?

FInally!

 Finally, I am getting a blog set up. I have been wanting to do this for the longest time. I love doing my crafts, I enjoy looking at other craft and stitching blogs, and I thought it would be awesome to throw my hat in the ring. It will enable me to look back at when I started things, chart my struggles and be a basic journal about my crafting. I also hope to start an Etsy shop with a wide variety of items. I hope you enjoy following along. I may get chatty at times, but some of my favorite blogs are like that- friendly, chatty, like having a good friend and keeping up with them.

Right now my focus has been cross stitch, but I also love to crochet, sew, quilt, and knit- all the things. Probably will have some cooking thrown in for good measure.
